This 6-Day Namibia Adventure is a well planned journey that takes you through some of the country’s most visited places in a short time. The route includes Spitzkoppe, Swakopmund, Sandwich Harbour, Sossusvlei, and ends in Windhoek. It is ideal for travelers who want to see desert, coast, and cultural sites in one trip.
Day 1: Arrival & Spitzkoppe
You arrive in Windhoek or Walvis Bay and travel to Spitzkoppe. After check in at your camp or lodge, you explore the granite rocks with a guide. You visit Arch Rock and see ancient San rock art in nearby caves. In the evening, you enjoy sunset views and dinner near the rocks.
Day 2: Spitzkoppe to Swakopmund
After breakfast, you take a short morning walk to see the rocks in soft light. You then drive to Swakopmund. After check in, you explore the town, walk along the beach, visit the jetty, and browse local craft markets. Optional activities include quad biking, sandboarding, or a dolphin cruise.
Day 3: Sandwich Harbour Day Trip
This day is spent on a guided 4×4 trip to Sandwich Harbour. You pass the Walvis Bay Lagoon and see many birds. At Sandwich Harbour, you explore dunes next to the ocean and enjoy a picnic lunch. You return to Swakopmund in the late afternoon.
Day 4: Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
You leave the coast and drive inland through the Namib Desert to Sossusvlei. After arrival, you rest at your lodge and take short walks around the desert area. Dinner is served at the lodge.
Day 5: Sossusvlei Exploration
You wake early to visit Dune 45, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei. After breakfast, the rest of the day is free for guided walks, photography, or relaxing at the lodge.
Day 6: Sossusvlei to Windhoek
After breakfast, you drive back to Windhoek. You may stop at the Okahandja craft market before arriving in the city.
